Graeme Hewitt’s High Society Jazz Band Christmas Party | Theale
Our last session for 2024 is going to be a well-attended occasion. Having led the High Society Jazz Band for over 50 years, and now at the age of 85, Graeme Hewitt is sure his Christmas Party will be a real swinger! With Guests BEN CUMMINGS and his wife and singer LIZZIE NEWBERRY making a return visit, their last visit in September having hit all the right notes, December 3rd is going to be a ‘sell out.’ To make an even bigger hit with the loyal supporters, Graeme is also reforming his Marching Band which won ‘BEST BAND’ at a jazz festival in Holland, voted the best of bands from all over the world. Our audience is encouraged to bring their parasols to form the ‘SECOND LINE,’ a New Orleans term, following the musicians round the hall, and weather being kind, even out into the car park putting on a show for Theale never to forget.
