As well as two nights at Wembley Arena as guest of the BBC Concert Orchestra, Simon has had a song on the iconic American TV series ‘The Simpsons’ and caused mayhem at a Canadian comedy festival, not to mention playing swing fiddle for the West End show album of ‘Five Guys Named Mo’. With a voice that easily crosses the great musical divides from folksong to blues, Irving Berlin and Berlioz Hilary James has had a top ten album of the year in The Sunday Times. Described on BBC Radio 4 as ‘one of Britain’s finest voices’ Hilary is also a fine guitarist, famed too for an unusual taste in bass instruments… including the mighty mandobass!
